  1. Idon’t care for all the brown color woodwork in your new place, to be honest.

  2. I don’t watch your videos because you drop the GD bomb. But I really Like you two and I am glad for you. I just get really hurt when people use the Lord name in vain. Nobody says F Buddha and stuff like that. So I would like to say congratulations to you both. I hope you enjoy your new house.

  3. I am happy for you – a new home with all the new home bells and whistles.
! When I lived in Tokyo in the 80s and 90s I never entertained the idea of owning real estate – it was too expensive.

  4. Congrats🥳 Your new house is amazing. I particularly like the amazing view from you bedroom. Enjoy it👍

  5. Very nice property! It’s really interesting to see a new build in Japan. Especially all the kitchen gadgets! Normally fridge doors can easily be reversed on almost any refrigerator door by removing a few screws and bolts. Good Luck !

  6. So cool ! It’s great to see you happy in your new place. Seeing Eric outside in nature on the porch is great. Congratulations ! I’m living in a situation like, when you were living by, what seemed to be a staging area, with neighbors making loud phone calls late at night. And Kyde didn’t seem to be sleeping very well. So, I’m a bit jealous, but it’s nice and interesting to see you there. And I’m interested to see about the process of how you got there. Love that restroom tour, Eric. And that shower faucet was interesting too, Kyde. Thank you !!

  7. ケイディ、エリック本当によかった。
    おめでとう!!
    自分のことのようにうれしいです。

  8. Congrats on the house and thanks for the tour. I would have loved to know:

    1) what is the black plastic container above the umbrella holder is used for
    2) what the faucet in the shower is used for
    3) what the dial? is on the corner of the tub is for
    4) if there are any special functionality with the wall switches (lights or otherwise)
    5) what is the square white plastic vents? under the kitchen window? above the stairs window? and in your bedroom

PS. regarding the privacy screen, it would have been nicer to have the slats vertical were they would be angled in a way so that your neighbor would only be able to view the trees (where you were standing when you explained it) [you can google "vertical louver screen"]

PPS. in my part of the world its the same where for the most part any 30+ year old residential building is not desired and in fact the price of an empty lot would be higher than one with a structure.

  9. Congrats on the new house. Just a quick question, I think I have met you before, maybe. Have you ever been skiing in the Goryu / Hakuba area ? Cheers.

  10. I am Japanese and living in Edogawa-ku. you guys made a great choice I guess. Good for doing anyhting like shopping and easy access to the central areas. And not so busy…I mean, you know, compared to other areas in Tokyo. and more than anything as a Japanese I am simply happy for your big dicision. Welcome~

  11. You guys are great .I am living in London ,but I hope to move to Japan 2023 .my wife is Japanese and lives there in Tokyo .anyway good luck with your life in Japan an sending positivity and love from London

  12. I live in Thailand and love Japan. I am always amazed by their use of small spaces so perfectly. One slightly negative comment, please, please do not ride elephants. The process of training them to do this is unbelievably cruel. Just a note to those who think elephant riding might be a fun thing to do. They are not suited for this and their spirits are broken first. Sorry, but I feel that I need to say this

  13. Congratulations!
I applaud your determination and your ability to take action.
However, bananas come in various sizes, so I'm not sure it's appropriate to use a banana as a comparison. (LOL)
    Anyway, thanks for sharing.

  14. Looks great, the place is so very “you”!

Kydes excitement about the trash is a bit contagious 🙂
Japan has a very serious waste management system compared to most of Europe, actually (I live in Sweden) — quite admirable.

And of course, the interactive T-shirt artwork in flux is extremely badass!

  15. The half closet made me remember my first house in Daly City,CA. I had a half closet too in the master bedroom. Best of luck w/ your lovely home. You guys are hilarious. Like button hit. Subscription, too.

  16. Congrats! You guys bought your own house! That's amazing! If you go to the countryside, you changed to a cheaper and bigger house! Anyway, have a nice life🐭

  17. Have been watching you on and off for years and years. This is great to see. The house looks great and it is placed in what looks like a nice area with trees and all. Do more videos of the home please as things changes:) …and the deck! Wow! Get some nice outdoor furniture at Ikea and make it a nice cozy space.
