Daily Asakusa 【6th of September 2022】
Local guide walking around in Asakusa day 128!
Today we started at our walk from one of the back alley in Rokku area, the restaurant in front, used to be another noodle shop but it was closed down couple weeks ago. Now it has been quickly replaced with another noodle shop. These days businesses change very quick.
Then we walked some back Yakiniku alleys, and at 2:46 this building is one of my favourite in Asakusa, there used to be another one but it was long gone. I believe this one will be demolished someday.

Nice little back alley tour, very peaceful and immersive. While Japan is still locked tight behind a mountain of paperwork and only accessible through travel agencies which do not necessary fit the needs and expectations of all, having the opportunity to see and walk around 浅草 almost as if we were there is invaluable. You can be certain all of us 外人 appreciate your efforts and do not take them for granted. 2:46 – 3:19 : From glory to ruin, another remain of the old Asakusa left to fall into decay. I hope whoever will replace this historic establishment will know how to take advantage of its privileged location and give it a long and prosperous second life.
