Well there are many expensive dishes in the U.S and other countries too ya know. And the pens one does make sense because Japan is known for having very good pen brands and yes collecting pens is an actually hobby lol. My dad loves collecting fancy fountain pens and he especially loves the Japanese ones. The cheapest nice pens range from 200-1000 USD 💀
