The only thing I could focus on was the masks
Fantastic village which I highly recommend people visit if their travel itinerary allows a trip outside of a bigger city. It's got it all: ancient culture, folk art and history, the best beef in the world, delicious ice cream, wonderful restaurants and coffee shops, great travel connections to Shirakawago, wonderful fresh food markets, forests, loads of incredibly good sake breweries and even TWO Showa retro museums. Oh, and onsens, lots of onsens! HIGHLY recommend if you can only visit one village during your trip. Make it this one. Only around 3.5 hours by train from Tokyo. What a gorgeous video, thank you so much for allowing me to relive my wonderful travel experiences and dream of exploring Japan again once our politicians end their hysterical obsession with Covid and allow international travel restrictions to ease.
