In Summer 2022, I got a chance to visit Okayama City in West Part of Japan for 3 days. This was my first time here and it was very fun. We got to visit Kourakuen (but not The Okayama Castle because it was under construction at the moment..), Kurashiki, Ikura Cave, and some restaurants and cafes.
There were some places that we missed because of a bad weather like beaches, islands, and Observatory.

Okayama is “The Land of Sunshine” also known as the suniest city in Japan. Okayama produced delicious fruits, especially the White Peach, which also their City’s Mascot is the famous Momotaro (Peach boy) because this is where the story was born.

The Main Highlight from this trip for me personally was the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter.
As a photographer that loves Kyoto for the beauty of the Nature and Historical area, Kurashiki Historical Quarter reminds me of my first time visiting Gion in Kyoto.
Kurashiki Historical Quarter has a very different vibe from Kyoto and I can see all of the different angle and poses for a portrait that cannot be done in Kyoto. Someday I will do a photoshoot session here!
