What is with the Japanese and shave ice, seems is typical there.
Also, the shopping street, seems is quite common that kind of streets in Japan. I saw several streets alike in different cities around.~
Now I know what loquat is, and in Spain there is an area famous for harvesting them, in Alicante. We call them "nisperos" and they are quite good, they make even a liquor with them.
