  1. On no, the teaser for the next video looks like you guys had troubles after all with the service. 🙁
Now I don't want to wait to find out lol I hope it works out ok 🙂

  2. there is nobody in Spain who doesn’t speak spanish. he is trying to promote basque in front of youbut if you spoke spanish to hin he would reply in spanish.
There are 4 oficial languages in Spain. Galician, Catalan, Basque and Spanish. Every spaniard has the right but also the duty to know perfect Spanish because it is the common language in the country. The other three languages are mandatory ONLY in their regions but not in the whole country

  3. :O woow, since you've uploaded this video, I assume you got to managed the van situation… I'm really curios on what happened.

  4. WTF is going on with stupid unprofessional Spanish garages? they must be making a fortune overcharging motorhome tourists. That's one reason i hate Spanish mechanics and garages they know you won't be back.

  5. And the moral of the story is to never go to a Spanish garage.
First Angry Camper and now Vantastic.
At least your pain has warned everyone else.

  6. Google translate is great. Use it in my medical work a lot. I was impressed that Basque was in the app, as there are relatively few speakers – more people speak welsh than do basque (about 0.5 million vs 0.75 million for welsh, i believe). Basque is also tricky because it has almost nothing in common with any other mainstream European languages, and the recognisable words are likely adaptations borrowed from other languages. Bit like Welsh does – my favourite being the word for a microwave oven (‘poppety ping’). That said, i love hearing regional languages and accents, and it serves to remind you that modern day borders are arbitrary, and cultures are probably more important.

  7. Well, I'm pretty sure that wasn't a happy ending.
Tune in next time to find out if Sara and Joni survive the attack of the Basque oil change.

  8. I hope all is(went) well with the oil change. The blouse looked great Sara. I dig how enthusiastic you two get about food. 😊🚚

  10. In Spain Castilian (Spanish) is spoken, the rest are dialects from other Spanish provinces. The most normal thing for a person from another country is to speak in the most international language, that is, English.

    Greetings couple!

  11. I tried running a dehumidifier in my van as the humidity in air have been 99 to 85% for 6 weeks I have been camping monday to friday. But it emptied my entire 5000w hour battery bank in just one day even with the sun shining all day…. Apparently just running a panel oven heater is much more effective at reducing the moisture on the inside compared to how much power it uses but some days it was simply to hot to do that.

  12. As soon as you said you were going to a Spanish garage I thought this is not going to end well, seems I was right.

  13. Same maintenance in Czech Republic 12 Euro a hour, totall service here 118 Euro whit top products,we live close to the border of Bavaria, Germany

  14. Wow, timing belt. So pleased I went for 2014 Citroen with Ford Puma engine, which has a timing chain. Its not just the cost. Its the fact that if a timing belt fails, your engine is – – – – ed.

Just spent 12 days in rainy Scotland (Mull), & off grid, no hookup.

Aircon, even with heater on, takes moisture out of the campervan.

  15. Everybody speaks Spanish, the mechanic just wanted to troll you because he's a nationalist and hates foreign people to speak spanish. You learn these tricks when you get more integrated into spanish culture. Despite this, Vasque Country was part of Spain since the beginning, and even before the beginning, they were the first to rebel against the muslim invasion and helped for the spanish country with strong passion.
Just don't fall into nationalists traps, they are a modern thing of the 20th century caused by racist politicians (they literally think the south people are inferior).

  16. Wow, I don’t think I’ve seen you Joni so pissed off. I surely hope it was fixable inte middle of nowhere. I’d go ballistic. Take care!

  17. I have a ducato maxi from 2009.
Let the diesel filter change done in uk.
Back in holland months later the diesel sprayed like a shower all over the motor.
They cracks the diesel filter house.
So bought a New one,and did it myself.

  18. I noticed on my 24 year old Fiat Ducato engine there it insect nets on the air pipes to stop the little creatures…..hope your engine is OK. ☘☘☘🇮🇪☘☘

  19. On the way back to Finland you could stop in Warsaw for a few checks or anything major you would need. Simo has done some work on his previous van there in the past and he has some contacts. He was very pleased with the quality and cost too. It would probably cost you a fraction of what you expected to pay in Suomi.

  20. Oh great, you started using cliffhangers at the end of episode now? So nice and relaxing😒 I hope next video is coming today. Brie cheese – breeches 🤣

  21. That was a troubling conclusion to your vlog……I hope you were able to find assistance and get the issue sorted.

  22. That was not necessarily a good deal on the oil change and tire rotation but you have to have it done. If anything, a little bit on the expensive side. Oil has gone up with this whole supply chain stuff and I use the ESP mobile one full synthetic oil in my diesel. However, I can find it for about $12 a quart and sometimes $10 a quart but I take nearly 13 quarts.

  23. Oh shit! I wrote my other comment before I saw the ending and I can only imagine that all the oil is pumped out of the motor! Those idiots!

  24. That is a cliffhanger😨. If you drive through Germany on your way to Finland next year, in the south there is a company that repairs shower trays. After the repair it is more study than before and they give a 10 years guarantee.

  25. Hi Jony, the common language is money! At least you are sorted, nothing is cheap when it comes to engines, those bloody mice can cause a lot of damage.
