Sounds promising๐ค
interesting ๐ค
@1:37 I thought I was playing Ace Attorney for a minute there. Thanks for the update!
This makes a lot of sense ๐ because how can they open the country without first alerting the airlines to get ready and staffed properly , it can also mean they are for Japanese people to go to USA and back ? Great video ๐
Finally good news ๐๐ป๐๐ป
Some good points there. One thing theyโll definitely need to change to support these additional flights into Japan is lifting the daily entrance cap from 20k to ??
I know itโs only early days but Iโd be interested to know the turnaround time of the new evisa process for US and Canada
Indeed. I am a flight attendant for Delta, we have been flying to Japan already from Atlanta and Detroit. But California is back into rotation. I do think hopefully by winter Japan will fully open or January.
Sydney, Australia to Haneda Tokyo ๐ฆ
ANA has long resumed the daily overnight flight from Sydney to Haneda. In fact, ANA maintained regular flights during the week while Australiaโs borders were closed for tourism from March 2020 to February 2022.
Qantas, the Australian flag carrier, announced in a press release on 26 May 2022 that Haneda flights will resume on 12 September.
This significant Qantas announcement made me believe, that, Japan would reopen their borders to individual tourists, to a reasonable level, before the year is out.
Looking at SkyScanner, it is obvious that JAL resumes flights on most days from September onwards as well.
Depending on your visa status, Japan is open. I'm currently in Kawaramachi, Kyoto,… downtown is busy as usual but places like Gion and Eikan-dou are nice and peaceful,… it's like Kyoto used to be before JNTO wrecked it ! (^_^)
This was actually a useful bit of info. Nicely done.
I hope that it can also open to Philippines. Praying for the good news. Thank you for the update. Keep up the hard work bro. And God bless you always.
This sounds promising ๐ . Me and my boys are planning to go next year May if Japan borders open up. What's interesting to me is that British Airways have a couple of flights daily that are flying from London to Haneda already. Not sure what it means for us in the UK but it does give me some hope. Thanks for the updates and I have now subscribed ๐
Nice !!
Read my lips Japan will never open ๐
Greetings from korea ๐ฐ๐ท
Also with the Opening of the E-Visa system for US and Canadians, it signals that perhaps the reopening to more limited countries are imminent, albeit, requires VISA application (Online). Similar to going to the US still requires ESTA for some passports. Not the same as Visa, but the ability to just do everything online certainly makes things more convenient. The most important thing that remains in question is the removal of the tour group requirements. What are the likelihood that this signals that they will soon do away with Tour Group requirements (but keeping the Visa requirement)?
Iโm in Australia and can get a seat on a plane flying to Japan already. But I canโt get a tourist visa unless I go in a group tour.
Thanks for then update
This means absolutely nothing. Airlines may be acting in anticipation, but the country is technically already open. That means airlines can do away with the covid policies they've created over the last 2+ years and the onus for checking entry requirements etc now falls on the customer again.
Airlines would probably have more concrete information than the general public, but it's not like Japan can't slam the borders closed again…Look at November last year.
rumor has it that shoin yoshida is now on suicide watch…can anyone confirm?
And the only phucking thing you care is phucking tourism!!!!!! Typical.
