Nice to see you connecting with Asagi. Her comments shine a blinding light on the fact that even those connected to the world outside of Japan haven’t really thought through the implications and long-term repercussions of this extended closure on businesses in Japan.
Additional thought. Facts are demonstrable. Nobody, and no country, is entitled to their own facts. Japan screwed this up and they’re doubling down.
That said, keep pushing man, you are doing outstanding work here!
Interesting vid, however one editing criticism is that the music in the b rolls is significantly louder than your audio when conversing with Asagi.

The way you said your not dating Asagi or taking dating advice from her could have been viewed in a negative way. I know you weren’t trying to do that but it didn’t sound very complimentary to her. Her subscribers love her and want great things for her!

The Japanese government is afraid of pissing off the elderly voters. The elderly voters are xenophobic towards foreigners.
Nice that you connected with Asagi, but would have been better to praise and thank her more at the end for her contribution and also promote her channel more. Came off as Western, self-centered. Like completely ignoring, or overlooking the fact that you should try to elevate the others around you and humble yourself. Also SOUND. You and all other Youtuberers should learn to run your audio through compression and use a comp/limiter on your final output. This way, you can easily smooth out all of the various sources of audio/music/camera mic levels.
Was it the shutter speed that made the lights blinking in your awesome b-rolls? ☺️ I think you know it already, but you can set the shutterspeed before recording so the lights don’t blink anymore.

I am really annoyed that the border is still locked down. I don't see any justification for this. Politics has infected everyone's lives!
Asagi’s English is excellent. I wonder if she has lived in an English speaking country to hone her language skills.

Yes Japan thinks differently but that all drops when they travel freely all over the world
I think not letting Japanese travel anywhere until they let us is the only way to open borders.

The funniest thing is that tourists can only visit under North Korea style tours. Yet Japan has the largest spike in the world lol. I guess locking everyone out of Japan is doing great 🤷🏻♂️😂

Gotta love it, I think she's right about the package tourism scheme being aimed at Chinese tourists, who pre-covid made up the largest section of their tourist demographic, but Japan did so without realizing Chinese cannot travel abroad. I think many Chinese came with organized tours pre covid as well, so that makes sense. I'm still guessing May of next year will see uninhibited, Visa on arrival tourism again
