  1. If you can afford to use your precious pto and your hard earned money on a babysitter tour guided vacation, good for you.
I'm not wasting my limited time on this nonsense.

  2. well, it is undoubtedly better so what it means is that tourism is going back to what it once was pre covid right? Do I understand that correctly?

  3. Absolutely not gonna visit with any kind of silly guided tours. Sounds like North Korea.

  4. Well COVID-19 ? able

  5. No way without total freedom of exploration and consumerism. I'm wiling to wear a mask in enclosed areas and up to date with doses. I carry around colloidal silver for defense being antimicrobial and is suppressed public knowledge.
I was thankful able to return to Japan three years ago, but not satisfied enough not fulfilling my bucket list. And so many years since living in US Navy household in Japan.

  6. Well tightening the restrictions on tourism doesn't make sense since tourist are already trates as if they were carrying a lethal disease

  7. The tour situation seems to be getting better; however, I still do not want to see Japan on a tour. Independent travel is the only way to visit Japan if you have been here previously.

  8. Condsidering I've been to Japan a few times now on my own, these tour packages do not appeal to me…or my wallet in the slightest. However, knowing that people can somewhat freely explore makes this way more tolerable and I'd imagine more appealing to people looking for a guided experience. I hope by October the borders are open to individual as I have had a plane ticket booked and rescheduled 4 times now and cannot reschedule again. With a little luck they will allow solo travel and require new entries to just have a tracking app to monitor covid spread.

  9. OPEN up for tourists…..all these 200,000 cases per day are from WITHIN Japan,,NOT anyone coming in…Other nearby countries are OPEN….Japan sounds like a hermit country…

  10. Japanese people were always allowed to leave and return with no issues. Yet foreigners can't do the same thing. No thanks to the North Korea style tours. I think all G7 nations should also ban all Japanese tourists until they remove their ban.

  11. Classic japan.
Japanese can travel in and out of japan easily with a few regulations and these are the real culprits in japan's domestic covid problem, BUT japan tries to shamelessly blame non-japanese for their their own home-grown issue.
    Classic. Just pure classic japanese.
Always blame non-japanese for a japanese created problem.
    This ALWAYS happens.
    Shameless. Utterly shameless.

  12. I’m currently checking with a tour agent about organising a tailor made tour that complies with the rules but provides min supervision. I’m planning to only visit the major cities (Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto) and spending time visiting theme parks or shopping with my family. They agreed their tour leader doesn’t need to accompany me to theme parks
