After two exciting days in Osaka, I am off to a Ryokan at the edge of Ikoma. Ikoma is located between Osaka and Nara and seems to be a quite and non-touristic crowded place. After I arrived at Ikoma station I take a cable car for 300 Yen up the step mountain, where I head to the Ryokan with a short walk.

After I have been welcomed by the staff very friendly, the showed and explained the building and breakfast times very well. There english is not the best, but the communicate by pictures, gesture and written sentences in english.

As soon I got setteld in, I went out to explore the neighborhood and the Temple what is located straight next door.

Come with me and explore the peace and nature of Ikoma sideways.

  2. I so enjoyed the way you filmed this. The temple was beautiful even in the rain! It was funny to see a rotary phone in the room. 😁 The view was fantastic! Once again, your choice of music really fit well with your visuals. Thank you! 👍

  3. I see that the OIJ crew has already watched and commented, and they have said everything I wanted to say. So I’ll just say Cheers.
