    John, do the rabbits have fleas? The animals that used to visit me in my backyard had ticks mostly. The little bear that came daily for birdseed had so many on one ear but we were able to get them off. No, it wasn't easy lol. All the rabbits remind me of the story Watership Down. Take one home for Leo! 🐰

    did you have the chance to see some more later on ? like most people seem to only walk from the Ferry Terminal to the Hotel like you did and thats it but there are some other interesting places and lots of ruins that wait to be explored.

    The whole Island was a big chemical weapons factory until WW II , now the island is rebranded as Rabbit Island. It's understandable that John is not comfortable talking about certain dark sides of Japan, but he could have mentioned in the stream , heck there is a poisonous gas museum he walked by on road to the hotel.
