For this episode we’ll check out a summer festival in the heart of Fukuoka City. A festival for honoring ancestors and fallen soldiers. The shrine grounds are lined with rows and rows of beautifully painted lanterns, all 6,000 sponsored by shrine worshippers. This year, a night market will be held along the approach to the shrine, with a total of more than 160 booths selling sundries and foods.
• 8/13 (Sat.) ~ 8/16 (Tue.)
• Lights on: 18:30~21:00, Night Market: 15:00~21:00
• Gokoku Jinja Shrine

Hi everyone! Wow – Japanese summer festivals are BACK! That was FUN, but I wish we had time to taste some of the festival food! The event runs until Tuesday…. hmmm, maybe we'll go back?? 😉
More of this.
Great video, as always! 🙂
The Quality of your live streams is so nice!
May I ask a technical question? What provider do you use? And do you use a Pocket Wifi? If you had some recommendations that would be so nice. I want to stream for my German friends and family, but Softbank seems to be rather bad for streaming. 😅
