Rion, people have reported side effects from getting a COVID booster shot including fever, body aches and a stiff neck. So, it may not be your mattress or pillow that caused your stiff neck. Just put hot fomentation on the affected area.
sounds like a pinched nerve. Usually sleeping with you head tilted in an odd way. It will clear up in a day or 2

Dr first..then bed rest..stop videos for now..hopefully you have money saved so you can take some days to rest at home..hot showers for neck..and then heat cream..soups and tea. Aspirin..tons of water to flush out your system…REST

My muscle in my neck/upper shoulder area acts up every so often like this and I can't turn my head to the left. It usually helps if I massage it pretty hard and break up all that fascia or whatever is in there. It hurts while I'm doing it, but it feels better afterwards. It usually takes a couple of days for it to start to feel better I hope you feel better soon.
Ooooh Rion, I can really feel how painful your neck is- poor thing. I agree with others who say it is most likely a problem with your pillow. You may need more supportive one. Not sure why people are wearing masks outside in Japan? Makes no sense. Its been scientifically proven the virus will not float in the air unless someone is speaking (who has the virus) very close to you. Inside areas that are crowded I understand.
Hi Rion. Grandma Cassie here. Sorry you're having neck and shoulder pain. When I was about 35 years old I had terrible neck pain much as you describe. Now that I'm in my middle 60's I get pain a lot and have learned to live with it. Taking Tylenol or ibuprofen, as directed, may help. Hope you feel better soon. Take care and may God bless you.

Look into getting a cervical neck roll bolster pillow. It supports your neck and align your spine with your neck. Or, try rolling up a bath towel and put it under your neck, while you sleep on your back. See if this alleviate the pressure on your neck.
I hope your neck gets better soon. A chiropractor helps some people 😎naproxen might help.
My worst reaction was the second Covid booster shot. Stay hydrated, rest, and give yourrself some time.

Really sounds like you got some sideeffects from the vaccine, I know a few people with none and with "strong" sideeffects (luckily noone who had long time problems, my former Boss had a friend who died after getting Vaccinated with the Chinese stuff though)
