Welcome to Onomichi in Hiroshima, Japan.
Today we went for a Bicycle tour to the Mukai and Iwashi islands Less then a 10 minute Ferry away from Onomichi city.
The day is very sunny and hot the sky and ocean look beautiful!
Mukaishima Island has many Ships all over since it is one of the leading shipbuilding centers with several Shipyards on the north of the island.
This is the Mukaishimao Bridge that connects Mukai island and Iwashi island.
Iwashi island has a road going almost all around the island so it is a great place for a bicycle tour with beautiful views and really fresh air!
Iwashi island has lots of beautiful Nature all around and famous Shrine, that is known for beautiful Instagram Pictures.
This is the Iwashijima Itsukushima Shrine.
It also has a parking lot close by if you don’t want to go by Bicycle.
It is best to visit during the sunset the Sun will set right behind the tori gate and create an amazing scenery.
This Shrine has a very relaxing and calming Atmosphäre.
In the background you can see the Innoshima Bridge.
It is a massive Suspension Bridge with a main Span of 770 metres.
After the long Bicycle ride we were quite thirsty and decided to go to this cute cider factory.
The soda that we drank here is only available here.
It is very delicious and not so sweet.
