  3. You still stay around "holland", not at all most of the netherlands and all places you visit are like amsterdam. Where's frisia, limburg, brabant those are actually different cultures.

  4. I see clear signs of previous storm surges, but can someone please tell me by how much the sealevel has gone up say during the last 30 years?

  5. At Fort Dennison in Sydney they measure the sea levels and have done so since 1914. Sea levels have risen and fallen in that period but only to a maximum of 2 inches or 5 cms. If sea levels were constantly rising why are the beachside properties so expensive. I found the same thing in Florida. Nobody is selling because of rising sea levels just cashing in on their high value.

  6. Hello! The Royal family from the Netherlands with Victoriya CHERVENAYAK and PUTIN killed my parents in Russia and made an attempt to kill me in SF in 2009. They also killed Prince FRISO and made me to move out form my SF apt. In the USA, where I lived after the film school graduation. Chervneayak and Prince Jaime Bernardo and their agents from Russia broke my MACBOOK PRO, and I dont have money to buy new one, as they beat me up severely, and I dont work since 2009, I dont have any income. They made me to sale my $6 000 ROLEX WATCH for 800$ and they destroyed my film museum, that I was collecting in JAPAN and USA for 15 years, the damage is huge, they tried to hide the crimes against me and my family by killing me in SF, pretending I committed suicide. Please tell that to the police in NETHERLANDS, or in the Netherlands EMBASSY. I look forward to hear from someone in the Netherlands embassy, they started their harassment of my family in 1980s when they gave birth to KGB agent Chervenyak with the plan to kill me and my parents and to robe my inheritance from CCCP and even the TSAR, from my parents……Putin and Medvedev helping them, but Netherlands Royal family is totally illegal. Especially also the Queen Maxima, in 2005 she named her child Princess Alexia and I met Alexia and she isnt a Princess. Maxima illegally named child like that to kill me, the REAL PRINCESS. And they made that attempt and killed my parents from CCCP, because I was born with the Imperial title the Princess of TULIPS. That is why in the Netherlands a lot of TULIPS. Chervenyak and Maxima hated that and they with Putin robbed my parnets and killed them and hoped to kill me by 2012. Huge damage is done to me! Please help me to let Netherlands know that story because I need help. Vera Petrovna Svechina

  8. Nice video! (One of) the masterminds behind the Afsluitdijk, creating the IJsselmeer and new land from the Zuiderzee is actually my relative, ir. Cornelis Lely. Sad to say he passed away before the Afsluitdijk was finished.

  9. I want to go to Amsterdam, when I grow up, if I get a scholarship, I want to get the Netherlands, because it's a good country there 🇳🇱🙋

  10. My mom is Dutch, her grandma came from Holland, I love learning about holland and would love to visit sometime

  11. My wife and I visited the Netherlands in 2019 and loved it. We are strongly considering moving there when I retire in a few years. At the very least, we will take a long vacation.

  13. For all people saying you don’t need to speak dutch to live in the Netherlands, that’s bs. I’m dutch and my wife is American. The IND kept sending letters, forcing her to learn the language which is mandatory. IND (which is like the American uscis) was even threatening with fines or deportation if she wouldn’t pass the dutch exam. Unfortunately my wife had a hard time learning dutch, so we decided to move to the usa instead. Of course alot of people in the Netherlands are speaking English, and you can find jobs where you don’t have to speak dutch. But the IND is giving (new) foreigners a very hard time now. Funny, cause I used to have a Turkish neighbor in the Netherlands who lived there for over 40yrs, and still didn’t speak the language after 40yrs of living there

  14. The organ of St Bavo church in Haarlem is one of the sounding organs in the world. It is internationally renowned. This documentary is one of the few that actually shows something else than only Amsterdam and those stupid wooden shoes that nobody ever wears. The Netherlands is more than Holland alone. Only 26% of the Netherlands is below sea level. However, nearly 60% is in danger of flooding if the dikes fail and there is a flash flood.

  15. In fact there are hardly any places with a view towards the horizon in the Netherlands, even if you stand on a chair. :((

  16. U should have gone to the clog factory that was fun. Also should talked about the hot chocolate with a dab of butter wonderful. The tulip fileds and gardens!
