The Canobie Corkscrew has operated at Canobie Lake Park for almost 3.5 decades. This Arrow looping coaster originally opened as Chicago Loop at Old Chicago before being relocated to the Alabama State Fairgrounds and Canobie Lake Park. The ride has since been removed, but it was an iconic ride at the park for years.

  1. Unfortunately I wasn't able to make it here when I was in New England a couple weeks ago. But don't worry. I'll return one year with friends and we'll definietly be coming there.

  2. It’s likely that the park realizes the ride is too costly to maintain, this ride likely reached the end of its service life by now

  3. me, my sister, brother, and grandfather are in this video!! im in the last back seat on the left side and first clip

  4. Now that’s officially gone, I feel kinda ripped off by the park. Not only did they say that it would open again later in the season. But they aren’t even going to replace it with a new coaster. It is most definitely going to be replaced by another water pack expansion, now that is not confirmed so we could still possibly get a new coaster, but probably not since the water park was so successful. But this was very sentimental to me because it was my first inverting coaster. I wish they could sell some of the parts that I can keep framed in my room as a piece of the coaster that started my enthusiast journey.

  5. I went to the park on their last day of operation in 2021, and I noticed that all the ride's signage was gone. The Chain in the lift hill was missing too. Once I noticed it all, I confirmed that the coaster shut down for good. I don't have pics or videos unfortunately 🙁
