“Gotad” in the olden times was one of the most festive and biggest celebration of the Ifugaos in thanksgiving for prosperity in the community. Everytime the gotad was held, people from near and far clad in their colorful native attive and bedecked in their precious ornaments come to join in the merriment. Today, the Gotad is incorporated in the Town Fiesta.
Just by being there in the midst of Gotad Ad Kiyangan makes one proud to be an Ifugao.
