Rice, miso soup, eggs, drinks, ice cream, etc. are free.
It’s close to downtown Kyoto, so it’s a great place for a long stay!

Ichiran ramen is the most overrated ramen chain in the world. They literally make everything in a commissary kitchen off location and they ship already cooked ingredients in plastic bags and reheated with boiling water. The only thing really cooked on location are the noodles. They do this to keep the proprietary recipes a secret. Ichiran is the McDonald's of the ramen world!
