  1. Thank you, Dai-san. Slowly but surely, things seem to be looking better and better.

  2. North Korea travel style …this is laughable and would never work here in London. It sounds like it would only be for those people who are crazy about Japan and absolutely desperate to visit the country.

However, its really good to see that the border restrictions have been eased, let's hope things continue to improve.

  3. Wtf- handlers? Small escorted, monitored tours, DPRK style? Phase into 'Living with COVID'? Something, but still so mentally deficient and loopholed. Unsure re: our family visitation status. You're an oasis in a desert of bs! 1st rate always. Thanks, Dai san.

  4. Thanks for the update.
On my side, I provided all documents to the consulate in Montreal to be able to receive a short term spouse visa.
If everything is correct, I’ll be able to receive it by end of this week.
We have provided many documents such as Japanese guarantor, letter to explain the reason of this travel, finance status , letter from my current company to justify I’m a full time employee in Canada, koseki (戸籍), etc…
Just hope everything works well ^_^

  5. What if I wanted to study abroad in a program in japan? Would the be possible? I am a highschool student if that helps

  6. Making some small improvements but I am cautiously optimistic. I wouldn't be surprised if borders close again due to new variant and/or an increase in cases. Going into its third year. Absolutely ridiculous! Definitely an outlier now in the world.

  7. Now that they’re moving in the right direction. I’m your opinion do you still think they’ll open by 2023 or sooner?

  8. Can people from the US who are working in Japan and have a working visa leave Japan and come back in?

  9. Thank you for the new information. I am glad to see Japan slowly reopening for cases of workers, students, and families. Second, I am glad you are safe. I heard about the earthquake this morning. Tourism is not my goal. My goals are to learn enough Japanese language to continue my education in Japan and come on a Student Visa or as an intercompany transfer. So this is all very good news.

  10. I live in Japan and feel so sad for this country. People are literally afraid of their own shadow. Freedom not expressed is not freedom at all.

  11. Hello Japan localized, I can’t thank you enough for the hope u gave me when i had no hope into getting into japan, i’m not finally in japan in quarantine and i couldn’t have done any of this without you <3
