Grocery shopping in Japan is one of my favorite things to do! I love seeing the different Japanese grocery stores and want to share how it looks in this tour. We also included our Japanese grocery haul!
Did you see how neat and clean it was inside? It’s like being a kid in a candy store. There’s so many Japanese products and many fresh produce, fish, and meat. I love the sushi bentos and the tempura bento boxes. So convenient if you’re in a pinch to grab a bite.
All the choices from noodles, alcohol, SNACKS, chocolate, bread, yogurt, milk, fruits, the list goes on and on. Most grocery stores carry the same things but prices vary. Some grocery stores only accept cash (yen) so it’s good to have some just in case.
Another cool thing about Japanese grocery stores/ Japanese supermarkets is the bagging station. There are numerous stations set up for patrons to bag their own groceries and it keeps the line going (unless you’re a slow bagger lol).
