[4K] Shiretoko National Park, Hokkaido | Japan's UNESCO World Heritage Site | 知床国立公園 北海道 | ชิเรโตโกะ

I went to this beautiful peninsula for only few days in summer of 2020. Shiretoko National Park is one of the four UNESCO World Natural Heritage sites in Japan, this is the most unspoiled national park in Japan as there are no roads lead further than about three fourths up the peninsula.

Also Shiretoko Peninsula is a home of the notorious brown bears, deer and foxes. There is a hot spring waterfall called ‘Kamuiwakkano’, or translated as ‘Water of god’ in Ainu language, I was lucky enough to be able to get the footage of this wonderful waterfall.

Mount Rausu is the highest point of Shiretoko range, it sits in the middle of peninsula split the towns of Shari and Rausu, also it’s the famous place in Japan for brown bear encounters.

I will definitely come back here again soon in different season, to see Shiretoko in different dress!
