  1. around baja and jalisco i would take caution…were you able to do some research on the current "safety" situation? I live in Tucson and know a Mexican person who is from Jalisco and aware of the current cartel activity said those 2 areas are NOT SAFE. I just came back from CDMX and Oaxaca, that was great and felt safe thru the entire trip. the cartel activity is very REAL and definitely not something to ignore when traveling to parts of mexico

  2. I will just stick to Rocky Point Mexico, drive- in & drive out no hassle, stress lol. It was great on Memorial week perfect weather and some waves action.
Going back end of summer. Would love to own there some beach property one day

  3. In Belize, they pronounce it “Key” Caulker. And it’s incredible. So much better than San Pedro in my opinion for those that love chill beach vibes and that aren’t looking for a resort style trip. Belize is amazing and very special. I’ve also been to the Galapagos 2x and its my favorite place on the planet so far. You’ll need to be with a guide on many of the islands because it’s very protected thankfully. It’s a trip that is much better if you can visit for at least 10 days if you want to experience multiple islands since you’ll need time to get around, visit places with guides that have to be booked, and take ferries from Puerto Ayora. But it’s worth every second once you’re there.

  4. I'm finally getting to Scotland in August, after being canceled, two years in a row! I'm so happy the re-entrance rules have changed.

  5. Cool. Thanks for all the recommendations. I just need somebody to go with. LOL. There are so many places to travel to. I also need more PTO and an extensive budget! Hehe. I'm going to list all the places and narrow it down.

  6. Thanks for the International travel destinations Jeff. Long time ago I took the train from Florence, Italy through Yugoslavia (now Balkan counties) then spent 8 days in Istanbul, Turkey.

I think you would like Turkey, I hear the rest of the country is really scenic and beautiful.

  7. We visited Croatia in 2019, while on a Mediterranean cruise. It is an absolutely stunningly beautiful country. Dubrovnik, the “walled city”, is perched right on the coast with fantastic views, especially from high on a mountain top (you take an aerial tram up and down), and the National park, Krka, is so gorgeous and green. The multi-“layered” waterfalls there are amazing. A word of caution, though: ALL restroom facilities are for a fee (usually equals .75-$1.00 USD), but ONLY Croatia’s currency is accepted (Croatian Kuna), and NO Euros will be accepted anywhere (that we came across). Free facilities just outside the park entrance, though. The town of Split is very popular and is a tourist town…again, lovely. The Adriatic Sea gives all the coastal towns and cities beautiful beaches, too. Where this year? Off to the Greek mainland and islands this Fall…can’t wait!
