  1. Chocolate is such a distinct and strong flavor, you need to know how to work with it to make the flavours come together in a good way. I've had good Mexican chocolate mole sauce, so savoury and chocolate can come together in a good way. A friend of mine is a genuine "Chocolatier" who makes chocolates with crazy flavours like tomato & basil… and he makes them work too. So doing a Chocolate yakisoba might be possible, it's just that the company doesn't have the expertise to do it right.

  2. I have to go so far out of my way to find those specific yakisoba in the us but Ive never seen the chocolate thats amazing and I want it

  3. That did not look good for sure. BUT if someone dipped uncooked ramen noodles in chocolate that might taste ok. I think a diluted chocolate sauce still doesn't disprove the idea of anything dipped in chocolate is at least good/ok. I thought that they were gong to have noodles with coco powder put in during the process of making the noodles. That would be more interesting if you had such a thing. Southerners in US make a chocolate gravy for biscuits and grave, and its pretty good. I have not had that in years and years, but my aunt in Arkansas could really rock that dish out.
It was funny and entertaining. I like the last part of "let Kyde eat it." What a sport; always up to try literally anything. You rock Kyde.
Peace and love peace and love to you both

  4. See this is one of those "Oh Japan" moments. That really isn't a good idea, those ghetto yakisobas aren't always good to begin with…

  5. Anyone else just wondering what's inside the white basquet labeled "Candy"? 🙂 Japanese candy are the best!

  6. in the states, maruchan brand yakisoba sells at 7-11. i prefer korean fire noodles which are instant pan noodle preparation too

  7. Would you guys be willing to put out more content out a week this one. I know ya'll have jobs and all, but if there were two vids a week that would be awsome .

  8. I have seen chocolate pasta and even specifically udon – I think – where there is cocoa/chocolate actually mixed in the pasta dough. The manufacturer should have taken that approach, although I imagine even that is not very good.

Chocolate on salty french fries, potato chips, pretzels, popcorn, nuts? Yes.

Still a good video as always from you guys. Love seeing those Japanese products and would love to see more reviews like this.

  9. The spicy mayo is mustard mayo, i went and got one because of this video, thanks it's pretty good!

  10. "never had chocolate water before"…. looks like that stuff would give you some…. 😛

  11. ewww! what's with Japan wanting to put chocolate on everything? I love cinnamon, but I think if I ate that it would make me never want anything with cinnamon again! But I do like me some cup ramen occasionally, haven't tried that yakisoba one yet.

  12. So…just came back from the store…with a couple of instant chow mein just because of this video… Did I put chocolate in it? No, but you still got me to go out and get some Nissin, lol 🙂

  13. I'm kinda bummed that it wasn't good lol Then again chocolate and noodles doesn't seem like a pair that would go well together. Great video though!

  14. You're taking ghetto gourmet to a new height! LOL. You're going to live a long time with all the chemical preservatives consumed.

  15. either Eric is really tall or that apartment is really small(short).. haha i live in the city in boston so i can relate to a small apartment lol

  16. This is definately a change from your usual show of amazing food haha. At least, now I know not to eat noodles mixed with chocolate. Who would've thought!

  17. Honestly this sounded like one of those things that's so weird it's good, so I'm disappointed to hear it's bad.

  18. That didn't look good at all. <puke face> I buy the cheddar cheese flavor of that brand and it's pretty good…for instant junk food. May try adding lettuce next time for a crunch.

  19. I like the Yakisoba brand noodle packets like that we have in the US especially the teriyaki varieties, local Aldi store had a whole bin of them awhile back for dirt cheap like well under $1

  20. After watching this video I decided I would subsscribe to the channel….am I going to be Ok? I don't know if it is a good thing to do…the two of you….weird…by the way don't you eat that yellow snow..

  21. "It tastes straight up like gross coffee" That line plus your facial expressions was the most I've ever laughed watching one of your vids.

  22. I've made instant yakisoba here but I've never seen it with the strainer. In mine it just absorbs all the water so it's mostly dry when I remove my chopsticks from the top.

  23. "It tastes straight up like gross coffee." … but they ate it anyway. Funniest thing I've ever seen. You guys rock.

  24. i love when eric was like ohh this is so bad then shovels in another huge pile in his mouth lol

  25. OMG!! Even i am japanese, it is very strange YAKISOBA!!!haha I think ペヤング yakisoba is much better!!

  26. Well now i know what to do at the end of the month when i open the fridge and cabinets and there is just a pack of Ramen noodles and a Hershey bar left, i will just melt that bar over the cooked noodles and tell the kids it is a Japanese dish, lol
