Don’t miss the high-energy ending to this parade with the Taru Mikoshi. This parade was a good mix of the traditional and some, but not too much, of the usual “standard parade stuff” (such as politicians, marching bands, etc.).
Although the official parade route starts at Civic Center, many important elements of the parade enter later on and don’t follow the entire route, so in this video we’re watching the parade from the edge of Japantown (Nihonmachi 日本町). It was a very warm and sunny afternoon.
