Once again, a self care day is calling and today we visit the New Raju Barber Shop in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. This was a completely new experience having a massage included with the haircut and left us feeling surprised with the result!

    Majority if these barber shops in Nepal are owned by people from the boarder areas of Nepal and India; Some Nepalese and some Indian people. This tradition has been going on from 100’s of years !! In old days, they use to come to people’s homes and do their hair and nails and give massages !!

    Just over 9 Australian dollars for the full treatment probably a bit of a financial killing there for them but you guys are like me and relate to what you would pay back home for the same service. Interesting country Nepal. Plenty to see. I note your fellow country man Craig and partner Molly of channel 'True Budget Travelling' have been in Nepal a month or so and doing some interesting trekking. If at all interested, it may be worth a peak to give you some ideas about the country. Cheers.
