The konbini pudding in Japan is literally my favorite dessert on the planet. I ate sooooo much of it when I visited then tried to make it at home and… it wasn’t great. It’s very hard to get that taste and texture.
I love the 'Vs' Concept & The Japanese Host. BUT – the American Guy I can do without. He doesn't seem to enjoy what he's doing & isn't entertaining. He's disrespectful & doesn't taste much of the food (unless told by producer) compared to the Japanese guy who is also Much Nicer 2 Watch.

I agree with him about Tokyo banana because the wonderful thing about Tokyo banana is the taste and texture of the sponge cake. I do not agree with him about rum raisin. That is hands down the most unforgettable flavor for me. Too much alcohol?! No way! Melty rum raisin is much stronger!
