  1. Its interesting to see the different design routes that boeing and airbus have taken to design the 787 and a320 wings .

the a350 wings are more rigid, less flexible, and less dihedral.

the 787 wings are very flexible, have high dihedral…

it would be interesting to have a rigid and high dihedral design…

Im also saddened by the fact that engineers do not give enough thought to the junction between the leading edge and the fuselage.

There should be way more area filled, ahead and around the leading edge, to create a smoother transition.

The only big airliner that has been designed properly in this department is the 747 8. The root section around and ahead of the leading edge is a beauty on it

  2. The A350 is exquisite. One of the most beautiful aircraft designs ever. The black cockpit window frames are the frosting on the cake.

  3. I'm a Boeing man (no beating the lines on the 747 IMO) but this girl is pretty…… Similar to the 787 of course but slightly more aesthetically pleasing….

  4. What a beautiful bird! The only slight aesthetic weakness in my view is the empennage looks a bit small. Is it me or did airbus find a way to cut down on stabiliser size?

  5. My FAVORITE aircraft! Really hope Airbus can build a modified -900 or -1000 for Qantas' s Project Sunrise. Would be nice to see it here at JFK

  6. I'm a big-time Boeing aircraft fan but this A350 is a beautiful aircraft it's even prettier than the Dreamliner sorry Boeing.
