A large colony of black-tailed gulls have claimed Kabu Island in Aomori Prefecture as their home. As such, it’s far from rare to see them in the skies surrounding the hill on which you’ll find Kabushima Shrine. Red torii gates leading up stairs through nice greenery and gulls overhead? Such unique scenery you’ll only find at this shrine!
