The neighbourhood of Shinsekai in Osaka is a throwback to early 20th century Japan. Tsutenkaku Tower, once the tallest in Asia at 100m, was also a symbol of innovation and progress. Spend the afternoon exploring the area, before finishing in Janjan Yokocho, a laneway filled with izakaya (Japanese-style pubs) and casual eateries. 🍺
