You may have seen (or even visited!) Hiroshima’s Itsukushima Shrine, which is one of Japan’s most recognizable torii arches. It’s not the only place here that has a torii arch that looks like it’s floating on water, though! Shizuoka’s Bentenjima Seaside Park is home to some lovely sandy beaches, tidal pools to explore, and the ultra-picturesque red torii arch you can see in this photo! ⛩️
