Japan’s westernmost island can be found in Okinawa Prefecture. Yonaguni Island is only 111 km (69 mi) away from Taiwan! The beautiful blue seas and skies just hit a little differently here than on Japan’s main island. And what lovely greenery! There’s also some wonderful diving in the waters around the island!
