Come on board the Shinkansen / bullet train as we travel from Tokyo and spend 24 hours in Sendai experiencing Japanese culture in 2022, all in 4K HDR. We start our trip with a short walk around Ueno Station to buy an eki ben bento or lunchbox meal and a cold craft beer for the trip. This speeding shinkansen travels at over 225 kph (140 mph) to get us to Sendai in just under two hours.
After arriving in Sendai, we go on a short tour around the area, see the famous Asa Ichi morning shopping market, experience Japanese cuisine, see a walking tour where everyone is adorned in traditional kimono and yukata. We will also try the famous Sendai Zunda edemame milkshake.
No talking or voice narration so you can immerse yourself in the natural ASMR sounds of Japanese culture and day to day life.
PRO JAPAN TRAVEL TIPS:
I departed out of Ueno Station instead of Tokyo Station because it is MUCH less crowded and easier to find seats. Ueno is only 5 minutes from Tokyo station so it’s very convenient!
