What happened to the Foreign Group Tourists entry into Japan? Prime Minister Kishida and the Japanese government made the big announcement that Japan would open its borders to tourists who come to Japan on government-approved group package tours starting June 10, 2022. But when June 10th came, no one showed up, no tourists. There was wide coverage by the Japanese and foreign media when the announcements were made, but only crickets were heard on June 10. So what happened? In this video, I will share my personal take on what happened, why no one showed up, and what may happen in the near future in regards to group and individual tourists entering into Japan in 2022.
