A number of festivals are making their return to the events calendar this year, and one of them is the Aomori Nebuta Matsuri. This festival takes place in early August and includes numerous colorful floats that make their way through the city. It’s not always easy to time a visit to coincide with the event, but you can see examples of the floats year-round at the Nebuta Museum Wa Rasse.
