Tom and Emi Livesey — “Libushi” is their name pronounced in Japanese — set up Anglo Japanese Brewing some eight years ago in the Nagano Prefecture resort town of Nozawa Onsen, best known for its prodigious hot spring waters and excellent ski slopes. Since then, the small but ambitious brewery has gained a keen following for the quality and consistency of their beers. And from tranquil Nozawa to the bright lights of Yokohama, @libushibashamichi has taken a giant step with a new location.
