Japan Opens to Guided Group Tours! (on June 10, 2022). This is the first step in the Japanese government’s cautious and very conservative opening up of the country to foreigners. No independent visitors or tourists on a tourist visa will be allowed into Japan yet. This video explains the present situation and also includes a news video of the FAM Group tour that was invited to Japan in late May to help promote tourism and bring back foreign tourists to Japan.
