High-intermediate (in powder): Skiers and boarders who are confidently in control at all times of their speed and demonstrate rhythm on moderate black diamond trails, can make parallel and carving turns and can ski/board very well at speed on intermediate runs. Should be adept at adjusting to the size and length of your turns and are learning to master a variety of different types of terrain and snow including deep powder and trees. You must also have a good level of fitness. Snowboarders in this level are able to keep speed in most situations as well as hold a reasonable traverse line.
