Gujo Hachiman a riverside town in Gifu, known for its pristine waterways and its summer dance festival. Gujo’s waterways function in much the same capacity as they did in the 1600s. Townspeople cooperate to keep the canals clean and the water fresh, and many Koi and trout can be seen throughout the town Gujo is also a leading producer of fake food replicas in Japan!
