in this video, i chronicle me and my host family’s travels on day 3 of our road trip from tokyo to hokkaido.
starting from a campground in fukushima, we made our way to sendai city, the economic center of the tohoku region of japan. we checked out the sprawling station and had sendai’s specialty, ‘gyutan’ (beef tongue) for lunch.
a bit later, we got back on the road and stopped at a nearby ‘michi no eki’ (roadside stop) to collect a unique stamp in our booklet. we soon arrived at our next campground and settled into our area for the next few days.
