16-year-old Nana (@Nanakusogaki in pink) and hairstylist Ozoni (@ozo_ni in blue) are part of the newest generation of decora girls in Harajuku. This new post-lockdowns Harajuku generation calls their style Neo Decora – which mixes elements of classic decora with gyaru, yume kawaii, magical girl, and other influences. They’ve been organizing regular Neo Decora fashion events in Harajuku since last year, the most recent of which was Sunday. We shot video and photos of many of the kawaii styles that the Neo Decora were wearing last weekend, and we’ll be posting more soon.
