Kakunodate Sanso Wabizakura (角館山荘 侘桜) is a luxury boutique Onsen (hot springs) ryokan (inn) with just 10 rooms total. It’s located in Kakunodate (角館町), a town in Akita Prefecture best known for its historical Samurai district with some very nicely preserved homes from the era. This is a quick tour of some of the common areas of the ryokan, as well as the private “Kashikiri Rotenburo” Open-Air Onsen hot springs Bath (貸切露天風呂) that is free to rent for guests staying at Wabizakura.
