The United Nations World Tourism Organization (UWTO) has acknowledged 2020 as the worst year in tourism history due to the worldwide pandemic. Destinations, tourists, local communities, stakeholders, and residents, and their daily activities were heavily affected.

Such challenges, however, present the opportunity to rise above and come back even stronger than you were before.

Mental resilience describes the mindset that every person adopts in everything they do and it is critically important and valuable for everyone. Mentally resilient people deliver more, work more purposefully, show greater commitment to purpose and are more competitive. This translates into better output, delivery on time and on target.

Now the challenge is, how do organisations develop an organisational mental resilience mindset, improving the mental toughness of its employees and creating a positive culture and improved wellbeing?
