Fukuoka Prefecture’s only standing castle keep, Kokura Castle, is the pride and joy of Kitakyushu City. ✨ First built by Tadaoki Hosokawa in 1602 and then rebuilt after a fire in 1959, the castle has become a famous cherry blossom viewing spot in spring. 😍
