18 September 2019 – Day 27 – Okinawa Island

After a late night out, I manage to get my life back together and get up and going by midday. This old body of mine is not used to drinking and staying up until 2am no longer.👴🏽
Our original plans for Okinawa was to go snorkelling at Blue Cave, one of the top activities on the island, but with the overcast weather today, it would not have offered the experience it is well known for. We switch to plan B and have a cruisy day at America Bay instead. ☁️ ☁️ ☁️ 🛍🏬🌴. If Kokusai Dori was not tourist enough then a place named America Bay will be perfect for you.
We spend the rest of the afternoon shopping around and having traditional Okinawa food. Okinawa Soba noodles was perfect for a cloudy day and had Taco Rice for dinner 🍲🌮🍚. Taking photo booth photos also seems like a mandatory activity when hanging with Japanese girls. Let’s just say I don’t think guys are supposed to take photos here and these types of photos are definitely the reasons why I have trust issues! 🤦🏽♂️
We say goodbye to our Okinawa friend Erichan as we prepare for another flight tomorrow morning to another island!! 🙋🏻♀️🛫🏝
