JAPAN EXTENDS THE TRAVEL BAN AT LEAST UNTIL EARLY JANUARY 2022- DECEMBER 20 UPDATE

πŸ’₯ Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said last Saturday that Japan will extend its tight entry ban until at least early next year to prevent the spread of the omicron variant of the coronavirus. Kishida told reporters that the government will continue with the rules until more details of the omicron variant are known.

β€œWe will study the situation after the year-end and New Year’s (holiday),” he said.

As I mentioned in my last video, we will continue to fight for our right to study, work and reunite with our loved ones, but the decision of reopening the borders, is not in our control, so I suggest everyone watching to avoid checking the news every day because it affects negatively your mental health keep checking for something you don’t have control on. Also, you can use this time to prepare for a plan B. Even if you will wait for Japan indefinitely, you should use this time to learn something new or do things to improve your mental health, rather than just checking the news.

Since many of you can not wait any longer, but you may still want to have a study abroad experience I will interview two students who are planning to study in Korea and that have used my copany Go! Go! Hanguk to go to study there.
