Fun fact for you: Fukushima’s Yunokami Onsen Station is one of only 2 train stations with a thatched roof in Japan. It’s also a popular spot for cherry blossom viewing in spring, which is perhaps a little hard to visualize with all the snow surrounding the area at the moment!
Another cool feature of the station is that visitors can warm up next to a traditional fireplace, or by soaking their feet in a footbath filled with natural hot spring water located right next door. ♨️ ❄️ 🔥
