Join me on this sunny January afternoon for a wonderful relaxing walk in the ancient capital of Nara. Today, I’m visiting Nigatsu-do, a small temple which is actually part of the big, famous temple complex of Todaiji, and an important cultural site in its own right. Build into the side of Mount Wakakusa, this beautiful wooden structure dates from 1669! Nigatsu-do is famous for the Omizutori water festival held every March. I think Nigatsu-do is one of the most beautiful locations in Nara, and is the perfect place for a peaceful virtual walk! Hope you enjoyed this virtual walk in Nara!
