Click here for Part 2 – as we were disconnected after 14 minutes:
Last year we stumbled on this, but this time we know what to expect; hundreds of twenty-years dressed in brilliantly colored kimono. In this episode, we’ll walk around Bayside Place and then around Marine Messe, one of Fukuoka City’s venues for Coming of Age Day ceremonies. And now from Wikipedia: Coming of Age Day (成人の日, Seijin no Hi) is a Japanese holiday held annually on the second Monday of January. It is held in order to congratulate and encourage all those who have reached or will reach the age of maturity (20 years old) between April 2 of the previous year and April 1 of the current year, and to help them realize that they have become adults. Festivities include coming of age ceremonies (成人式, seijin-shiki) held at local and prefectural offices, as well as after-parties among family and friends.

Why are you doing this?
I love Kyushu, walking, and cameras, so this seemed like a perfect combination and fun. I hope to show off and connect Kyushu to the world, even in this small way. Please sit back, relax, and let me do the walking and talking!

Kyushu Live
PATREON(ファンがクリエイターを直接支援できるサービス)でも登録しているので応援してね!
