4K SUKAYU [酸ヶ湯] The Snowiest Place in Japan / Drive from Central Aomori City to Sukayu

Sukayu (酸ヶ湯) at 890m above sea level is known as the snowiest place in Japan that is accessible by car in winter.
It holds the record of the highest snow depth 566cm in 2013 ever recorded by JMA(Japan Meteorological Agency) weather station. and its annual accumulated snowfall exceeds 20m in a certain year. (recently 1996, 1999 and 2006)

It had 330cm snowfall on my visit even though there had been little snowfall nationwide in that winter (2019-2020)
